A quick update about WHMCS Notify Extended (??) v2 and more!

Greetings,

It’s been a long few months, and there has been a massive amount of work done on WHMCS Notify Extended version 2.  This post will be there to clarify, as it were, some stuff, and show the path going forward.

The Timeframe
One of the most popular questions (received daily, almost) is “When will this be released”… Well, I can safely say, not until it’s ready… I realize that a lot of people are wondering about the WhatsApp integration, and dying to get their hands on it, but I do not intend on releasing this until I’m 100% confortable with the release, and it’s stability.

That being said, the release will be pushed back oh so slightly. I hate release deadlines, and release dates, because it’s hard to project just when something will be done, so I’m not going to put another one on this. Just know that it IS still being worked on, and there IS still a fair bit of progress to go. I spend quite a few hours daily myself working on this, and I just can’t wait for you to get your hands on it, but, again, I’m not going to put it out there if it’s not ready and tested a million ways from Sunday. It would be unprofessional to do this.

The project
WHMCS Notify Extended v2 is a massive overhaul. So massive in fact, that it was decided a few months back…
WHMCS Notify Extended is dead .

That’s right… The addon formerly known as WHMCS Notify Extended is dead… Done, kaput, gone!!!!
There will be no further updates to WHMCS Notify Extended. The current version  is the last one out there.

That said, the work being done on version 2 is  going to be released…. As an entirely  new project .
That’s how drastic this update is. As I’ve been saying all along, the only resemblance to WHMCS Notify Extended at this point is cosmetic. The entire system has been reworked, or is in the process of being reworked.  This is one of the reasons it’s taking so long to get in your hands.

am hopeful to get this out in beta format sometime mid q2 , 2020, but this is a soft date. It may change, it may not.

I do realize that there have been other companies trying to drag things along . That’s not my style, and it’s certainly not how things are done. I’m more than anxious to get this in your hands, I just want to make sure it’s done right, and that there are no problems.

Bear with me, work continues, at a very rapid pace, on this massive addon!
