It’s been a crazy few weeks of development here at WHMCS Guru. Creating new mods usually is, but this has been a rather interesting development time. Needless to say, the outcome of this work is going to be amazing!
WHMCS Domain Tools is nearing completion. It is feature complete, just putting a few final touches on the code, cleaning it up a bit, and running just a few more internal tests to make sure nothing breaks anything unexpected, and that there are no bugs to get out of the system.
The idea of WHMCS Domain Tools started over a year ago, as a one-stop place to manage our own domains, and hostname inventory (mail server, mysql server, web server, etc), as well as provide suggestions (ideas) for new and creative hostnames, having used the same few hostnames in the past over and over again.
Then the domain transfers…. OOF, what a mess! The situation with WHMCS, transferring domains, listing domains, etc… it’s a huge mess. Thankfully, creating an addon for WHMCS can be done, and thus we end up right where we are today.
WHMCS Domain Tools is expected to be released in the next few weeks, once we get done with more internal testing, some code beautifying, and internal processes. We cannot WAIT for you to get your hands on this addon!
