Good stuff on the way for 2022!!

Greetings, one and all!!!

It’s been a minute (or two, or three, or, hell, a few months) since I’ve written anything here, or on the blog. I just wanted to do a quick update, let you all know I’m still here, still alive, and still working on WHMCS Notify Extended v2.0!!! It’s been a very long process, but I’m quite excited to see progress and to continue working on this project!

The work for WHMCS Notify Extended 2.0 isn’t the only work being done this year. ALL modules will get an overhaul, as a result of the work on this project. This is one of the more exciting things I’ve been working on the past few weeks, and am amped to show them to you , very shortly!!!

The WHMCS Notify Extended module has had repeated delays, and I can only sincerely apologize about this. From health problems to a host of other issues (including a few hosting problems), it became obvious that the best plan of action was to abandon the current path forward, and start 100% from scratch (kind of), again! This will be the second rewrite and strip down of this code, but , again, the result is going to be phenomonal!

Those that know me know I hate releasing bad quality work. I’d rather just release nothing than bad quality, untested, buggy work. Since WHMCS Notify Extended runs over 10k lines of code  in it’s current state, and there are just far too many issues, I just couldn’t feasibly release what it is now. Patience is key, and it will be rewarded, I promise!

Until next time,

-Tom
