Today, I’m happy to announce the first major update for WHMCS Guru, of 2018. The Cron Notifications addon has received a massive update, to version 2.0
Version 2.0 integrates the WHMCS Guru framework into Cron Extended.. The WHMCS Guru framework is a framework shared across our applications and modules which allow for a much easier development experience and allows a smoother experience to all
Additionally, the following features were added in version 2.0
- Cron log cleaning (get rid of those excess logs, saving space and time)
- Configuration was moved to it’s own table, and location (rather than hiding in the addons menu)
- If you’ve purchased WHMCS Notify Extended, you’ll now have access to all alert methods as of this date. There were a few missing
- PHP 7.x compatibility (code was always php 7 ready, but not encoded)
Upgrading, as always, is simple as can be. Simply download the zip file, upload to your website and unzip… That’s all it takes. You may run across an issue where you see an “oops” screen on first access. This will disappear after you access your admin area.
